I am interested in the structure of landscape and in interpreting it using different media - charcoal, crayon and ink as well as oils.  I spend time in Italy studying how mountains and rivers have been formed by nature and modified over the centuries by man.

Main working career as a playwright 1979 ñ 1990. Has written, amongst others, for BBS Radio 4, Royal Court Theatre, London, Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, Riverside Studios Hammersmith, BBC TV and a feature film The Assam Garden starring Deborah Kerr and Madhur Jaffrey.
